Sako Spruill, PT, DPT, CSCS

Sako was born and raised in Glendale, CA. As a young boy, he was fascinated with bodybuilding and martial arts which inspired him to learn about health, fitness, and performance. Sako pursued athletics with Glendale College football, San Fernando Valley Rugby Club, and practiced Kenpo karate. He went on to develop a career in personal training and became the fitness manager at Gold’s Gym in Pasadena. He then pursued his academic goals and graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a Doctor of Physical Therapy. Sako currently trains and coaches jiu-jitsu in Pasadena. He enjoys cooking, backpacking, mountain biking, and spending time with family.
