Elizabeth discovered her passion and curiosity in the study of the movement of the body while she was studying undergrad. Attaining her doctorate of physical therapy in 2008 she first started her carrier in the pediatric field. Soon after, Elizabeth was curious to work with older population working with outpatient rehab and geriatrics in the home health setting. Elizabeth discovered the connection with yoga being the oldest form of physical therapy during her journey and decided to learn and become a yoga instructor to share the benefits with her patients. She has been teaching yoga since 2017 and loves the benefits that it offers in healing the mind and body. Elizabeth’s background as a physical therapist gives her a unique ability and advantage in teaching yoga. Her classes are focused on alignment and correct foundation of the poses to prevent injuries and build healthy yoga practice habits. Elizabeth is a firm believer of the influence of habits, one of her favorite quotes include the following: "In the beginning we make our habits, then the habits make us!"
