Isaac grew up in NorCal but moved to sunny Southern California for college and grad school. He graduated from UCLA (go bruins!!) with a B.S. in Physiological Science. Isaac has a passion for learning and took over 300 hours of continuing education before even finishing physical therapy school, including being recognized as an EXOS Performance Specialist and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Immediately after earning his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Mount Saint Mary's University, he completed a year-long orthopedic residency program through Kaiser Permanente. During residency, Isaac went out of his way to prepare for and pass an oral defense, practical, and written examination to receive his Certification in Spinal Manipulative Therapy. He is currently furthering his expertise as a movement specialist through Azusa Pacific University's Movement and Performance Fellowship. Isaac is passionate about using his knowledge to help his community. He has volunteered on the medical team with AVP pro beach volleyball, the Lei-Out ultimate frisbee tournament, South Bay Dozen ocean racing event, and an international hip hop dance competition. Furthermore, Isaac mentors UCLA undergrad students through the alumni program and volunteers with the MSMU DPT program, where he was formerly a teacher assistant for the upper quarter orthopedics class. In his free time, Isaac enjoys playing guitar, lifting heavy things, bouldering, snowboarding, and playing soccer and badminton. He also loves to spend time with his Lighthouse church community and his newlywed wife, Rosalyn.
