David Johnson PT, MPT

David has over 40,000 hours of experience in the evaluation and treatment of youth and teenagers, adults, and seniors with a wide variety of diagnoses. Early in his career, he completed a one-year residency in rehabilitation at Casa Colina Centers for Rehabilitation in Pomona, California. He stayed on as a staff PT another 12 years treating both children and adults with catastrophic conditions, chronic conditions and eventually directing clinical staff of Children's Services. He has spent the last 12 years treating primarily orthopedic conditions with a manual therapy and functional movement approach. Over the many years, David has developed a passion for the unique demands on the swimmer's shoulder/thoracic spine and enjoys helping athletes of all ages and skill levels compete with optimal movement patterns. He opened Evergreen Physical Therapy Specialists, Inc. in his home town of Pasadena in 2005. David lives with his wife and 4 children in Pasadena. Through his kids' participation in athletics, David has been involved in sponsoring and/or holding board member positions in community youth sports programs including Pasadena Pop Warner, Little League, Brotherhood Crusade, and area volleyball clubs, and local high schools.
