Louise Nagahori PTA

Louise has 24 years of clinical experience and has come to Evergreen with an extensive background in pelvic floor dysfunctions. She is certified in Tecnica Gavilan for instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) as well as pursued continuing education in Kinesio taping, and functional movement approach to gait, balance and body mechanics. Louise played softball at Taft High School, and Irvine Valley College and was a scholar-athlete. Now, an avid snowboarder, Louise, and her husband lead a Big Air Snowboarding ministry providing free snowboarding lessons and equipment to individuals unable to participate in the sport otherwise. Louise has taken her passion for being active and developed an interest in orthopedics and movement science keeping people fit and healthy for their sports of choice. She is currently in course work under Clare Frank, DPT, MS, OCS, FAAOMPT for DNS (Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization) and Movement Links. Movement Links is a management approach to musculoskeletal pain and dysfunctions based on developmental kinesiology, which is the foundation of the human movement system.

Away from Evergreen, Louise spends time with her husband and 2 daughters, teaches rubber stamping and scrapbooking for Stampin' Up, plays guitar, camps, backpacks, snowboards, and has led several mission trips for the development of schools and empowering women in Mozambique, Kingdom of Swaziland. Her next project involves taking a team to Kenya to provide physical therapy training for therapists.
