Nikolas Dewinne PT, DPT
Nik was born and raised in central Texas. After receiving his Bachelor's Degree from Texas Tech University, he taught high school Math and coached girl's basketball at the same high school he attended. After two years, he realized athletics and helping his athletes was his motivation. He moved to San Diego to play basketball for San Diego City College and work on required course work for physical therapy school. During this time, he won the Scholar Athlete award for the highest GPA among all college athletics and the CCCAA Mens' Basketball State Championship in 2017. From there, he attended Mount Saint Mary's DPT program where he worked for the university as a personal trainer, teaching assistant for Gross Anatomy and Therapeutic Exercise, and was a Student Physical Therapist in the school's Sports pro bono clinic. Nik works well with all age groups, from young to older adults, with a focus on athletes. In his time off, Nik likes to garden, play basketball, hike with his wife and two dogs (Donkey and Olaf), and explore the Los Angeles area.
