Delina Korbel PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS
Delina was born and raised in Ohio. She received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Azusa Pacific University. Prior to graduate school, Delina attended The Ohio State University and played D1 soccer for two years before transferring to Azusa Pacific to finish off her soccer career and her BS in Exercise Science. During the off seasons she played with several different WPSL Teams before hanging up her shoes to focus on her career as a Physical Therapist. Delina's passion for soccer and injury prevention led her to pursue her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. After PT school she completed a Post-professional Orthopedic Residency at Kaiser Permanente and just began APU's Clinical Fellowship in Movement and Performance. Delina's area of expertise is in orthopedics working with a wide range of athletes in return to sport, with a focus on soccer and triathletes. She also works with concussion management and team injury prevention training. In her free time, Delina enjoys playing soccer, running, drinking good coffee, and reading a good book. She also loves being active and outside whether she is backpacking, hiking, or city exploring. Locally, Delina attends Knox Presbyterian Church in Pasadena and volunteers with the local high school youth.
